Ambassadors

The BDNG would like to invite applications for the position of BDNG Ambassador. This three year role is for nurses committed to dermatology who would like to be more involved in the work of the BDNG and national dermatology developments.

Applicants must

  • Be an Ordinary member of the BDNG i.e. a Registered Nurse working in dermatology
  • Have at least 2 years experience in dermatology
  • Have the support of their line manager to apply for this role

Role responsibilities

To support the work of the BDNG by:

  • Attending two committee meetings per year
  • Participating in BDNG events including the annual conference and regional meetings
  • Presenting at regional meeting or other BDNG events
  • Contributing to Dermatological Nursing by writing an article during term as Ambassador
  • Advocating for the work and members of the BDNG with key local and national stakeholders
  • Encouraging local dermatology nurses to join and engage with the BDNG
