Derm School: Core Skills in Dermatology

This one day meeting is taking place during the BDNG 30th Annual Conference and is aimed at:

  • Nurses new to dermatology
  • Primary care nurses
  • Aesthetic nurses
  • Podiatrists
  • Student nurses

This meeting is open to anyone working in a healthcare setting with an interest in dermatology.

In addition to the plenary session, three breakout sessions will be held:

  • Introduction to dermatology nursing
  • Lower leg dermatology for podiatrists
  • Aesthetics

Session B - Lower leg dermatology for podiatrists • Cutaneous manifestations of the lower leg: optimising skin integrity • Practical demonstrations of ABPI assessment and compression therapy
Session C – Aesthetics • Assessment and management of acne and rosacea • Approaches to the management of acne scarring and facial dermatoses
