We are delighted to invite nominations for the Rising Star Scholarship to attend the upcoming World Congress of Dermatology in Guadalajara, Mexico in June 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging dermatology nurse to participate in one of the world’s leading dermatology events. The selected Rising Star will have the chance to:

• Engage with cutting-edge research and clinical developments
• Network with internationally renowned experts and peers
• Broaden their knowledge, skills, and global perspective in dermatology

If you have a nursing colleague who demonstrates exceptional promise, commitment and enthusiasm for dermatology, we strongly encourage you to nominate them for this unique opportunity.

Nominees must:

• Be a Registered Nurse working in dermatology in the UK or Ireland
• Must be a BDNG member
• Have less than 3 years dermatology experience
• Be able to travel with the BDNG in June 2027

The BDNG will fully fund travel, accommodation and registration fees. During the Congress, the BDNG are also hosting its own Sister Society meeting, giving the chance to meet and collaborate with dermatology nurses from around the world and gain valuable international insight into dermatology nursing practice.
